“The earth is seven tenths water, but the ratio of silence to voice is far greater. If libraries hold all the stories that have been told, there are ghost libraries of all the stories that have not.” Rebecca Solnit from The Mother of All Questions
In a time of political discord and social upheaval, art is an important voice breaking the silence of the oppressed and helps foster resilience. What does resistance, resilience, and hope look like to you? Femme Fotale invites you to submit 1-3 images exploring what resistance, resilience and hope mean to you. What lies within the pages of your ghost library?
Femme Fotale is excited to announce we are currently accepting submissions for our first ever issue dedicated to the resistance. Deadline for submissions has been extended to September 29th, 2017, midnight.
Submissions are open to women and femme identifying and GNC photographers in and outside of the United States. Please fill out the form completely. Submissions emailed that do not have a completed form will not be accepted. After completing the form, email us 3 images that follow our guidelines.
